COMPOSITION CHARACTERISTICS AND RATIONALE
The low fat and high fiber content ensures a low energy value. Therefore, even during the period of weight reduction, the animal can receive a large amount of this food in terms of volume, which will give the cat a feeling of satiety, without the risk of obesity.

Omega-3 fatty acids have a beneficial effect on the skin and coat. Omega-3 fatty acids also help overweight cats maintain normal joint mobility.

The slow-dissolving carbohydrates and the high fiber content contribute to the gradual release of glucose, so the food is well suited for patients with diabetes.

The relatively high protein content ensures the preservation of muscle mass and helps to satisfy the cat's appetite even during the period of weight reduction. L-carnitine participates in the transport of fatty acids to the mitochondria and promotes fat oxidation and preservation of muscle tissue.
