The Youshiko YC9442 wireless weather station combines a multi-colour section display with indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and an MSF radio-controlled clock for the UK and Ireland. Supplied with one wireless outdoor sensor and a UK power supply, it also includes four brightness modes, weather forecast icons and a USB charging port.

Before leaving home, check the outdoor temperature alongside the time and weather trend. Inside, keep an eye on room temperature and humidity, then review the day's maximum and minimum readings to see how conditions have changed.

A Fuller Picture of Your Local Conditions

The YC9442 brings together temperature, humidity and air pressure, rather than displaying temperature alone. Its comfort indicator gives you a quick reference for indoor conditions, while the forecast icons and animated trend help you follow changes in the weather.

The forecast is an indication of expected conditions, not a guaranteed prediction. Allow time for readings to establish after setup; the supplied model comparison lists the forecast as available after approximately 12 hours.

One Sensor Included, Room to Expand

The supplied splash-proof outdoor sensor sends readings wirelessly from up to 60 metres away. Walls, obstructions and placement can affect reception, so follow the positioning advice in the user manual and choose a suitable sheltered outdoor location.

With three sensor channels, you can monitor up to three different indoor or outdoor locations of your choice. One sensor is included in the box. Additional Youshiko YC9312 sensors are available separately.

Automatic UK Timekeeping

This official UK version receives the MSF time signal used in the UK and Ireland. Successful reception allows the clock to check and adjust the time automatically, including changes between Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time.

During radio signal reception, the display may turn off for approximately seven minutes to reduce interference. Press SNOOZE to illuminate the screen while reception continues, or Up to stop reception. To start reception manually, hold Up for two to three seconds. Four Brightness Modes and Flexible Power

Four backlight modes let you adjust the screen to suit its position in your home or office. The YC9442 can be powered using the included UK power supply or two AA batteries in the main unit. The wireless sensor requires a separate pair of AA batteries; batteries are not included.

The USB port offers a convenient charging connection beside your weather readings and clock. The main display can be placed on a table or wall-mounted, while the sensor can be wall-mounted or positioned on a suitable surface.
