Monitor More Than Temperature Alone

The YC9441 combines temperature and humidity readings with barometric pressure and a forecast display, helping you follow changing conditions rather than relying on a single reading. The comfort indicator provides a quick reference for indoor conditions, while maximum and minimum records help you see how readings have varied during the day.

The forecast icons indicate expected weather trends, not a guaranteed forecast. Allow the station time to establish its readings after initial setup; the supplied model comparison lists a forecast settling period of approximately 12 hours for the YC9441.

Wireless Sensor and Multi-Room Monitoring

The included splash-proof wireless sensor transmits readings to the main unit from up to 60 metres away. Actual reception depends on placement, walls and other obstructions. Choose a suitable sheltered outdoor position for the sensor and follow the placement guidance in the user manual.

The station supports up to three sensor channels, allowing you to monitor different locations of your choice. One sensor is included; additional Youshiko YC9312 sensors are available separately.

Radio Controlled Clock for the UK and Ireland

This model uses the MSF time signal, rather than the DCF signal used by many continental European models. With successful reception, the clock checks and adjusts its time automatically, including the change between Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time.

During radio controlled clock reception, the screen may switch off for approximately seven minutes to reduce interference. This is part of the reception process. Press SNOOZE to light the display while reception continues, press Up to stop reception, or hold Up for two to three seconds to start it manually. Refer to the manual for full operating instructions.

Power, Display and Everyday Use

Use the included UK power supply for a continuously illuminated display. The main unit also takes two AA batteries, and the outdoor sensor takes two AA batteries; batteries are not included. Three brightness modes let you adjust the display to suit its surroundings.

The main display can be positioned on a table or mounted on a wall. The sensor can be wall mounted or placed on a suitable surface. The USB port provides a handy charging connection beside your weather information and clock.
