Radio Controlled Timekeeping

This UK radio controlled digital clock automatically synchronises with the MSF atomic clock signal, so it always shows the correct time. It changes automatically for spring and autumn and checks the time automatically, with an accuracy of 1 second in 10 million years.

MSF is transmitted on 60 kHz from Cumbria and carries a date and time code that radio controlled products use to set themselves. The signal is controlled by atomic clocks and kept in step with the national time maintained by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).

Digital Display & Functions

The large LCD is easy to read from a distance and shows hours, minutes and seconds, with the date, month and weekday. As a digital clock with temperature, it shows the indoor temperature in Centigrade or Fahrenheit, which you can select. The alarm has a snooze function, and the clock can be mounted on a wall or stood on a table.
