Radio Controlled Timekeeping

This self setting digital wall clock is constantly receiving the MSF atomic clock radio timing signal, so it will always show the correct time. It changes automatically for spring and autumn and checks the time automatically, with an accuracy of 1 second in 10 million years.

MSF is transmitted on 60 kHz from Cumbria and is controlled by atomic clocks. The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) operates the UK national time system, and the signal carries a date and time code that radio controlled clocks use to set themselves.

Digital Display & Functions

The large display shows hours, minutes and seconds in a 12/24 hour format, alongside the date and weekday. It also works as a digital clock with temperature and humidity, showing the indoor temperature in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. The built in alarm has a snooze function, and the clock can be mounted on a wall or stood on a table.
