There's a mystery in Huckleberry Hollow — and your child is on the case. The town's time capsule, hidden away every fifteen years, has gone missing. Only the Firefly Club can follow the clues and find it before the trail goes cold.
The Case of the Missing Time Capsule is a hands-on detective adventure that arrives as one keepsake box holding six sealed envelopes. Your child opens them in order — reading notes, decoding a simple cipher, following hand-drawn maps — as the story unfolds one envelope at a time. (We suggest one a night, but the pace is theirs to keep.)
Inside the box:
✉️ Six sealed Firefly Club case envelopes, opened in order
📓 Martha's meeting notes, June's sketches, Oliver's maps & Milo's adventure logs
🔍 Clue cards and fair-play puzzles — nothing given away too soon
✏️ A Roll Call card with a blank line for your child's own name
🏅 A Certificate of Completion
🌳 A tree-ring keychain — the official mark of a Firefly Club member, shaped after the great oak that holds their treehouse HQ
🐾 Pip, the world's most enthusiastic detective dog
🔦 Screen-free, hands-on fun
💛 A gentle mystery with a kind ending — no scary villains
📬 One keepsake box, six envelopes to savor
The tree-ring keychain is theirs to keep and carry — a small, sturdy token that says you're a Firefly Keeper now.
Four young detectives — each with a different way of seeing — plus Pip show every kid there's more than one way to be smart and creative. And best of all: there's no villain. Every Firefly Club mystery ends in a warm, kind explanation — real whodunit excitement with nothing scary, and not a screen in sight. Written for readers ages 7–10, and lovely read aloud to younger ones.
A gift that never feels like "just more stuff" — give a curious kid a whole town, a treehouse headquarters to belong to, and a case only they can crack.
Tiny lights, mighty team.
