TRAPPIST by Michael Downey

Trappist Living in the Land of Desire Michael Downey

A striking coffee table book whose prose and photographs draw the reader into the prayerful rhythms of monastic life, as pictured in Mepkin Abbey, Moncks Corner, SC, and show us not only how monasticism is a unique call, but also how its values and virtues echo the universal Christian call to holiness. Black and white and color photos accompany the text.
