USS Iowa SSN 797 A-Gang Challenge Coin

The USS Iowa SSN 797 A-Gang Challenge Coin combines an Iowa-shaped outline, a chain border, and raised-relief artwork in a compact naval collectible. Measuring 2.25 × 1.875 inches, its sculpted details give both sides a three-dimensional appearance.

A-Ganger front artwork

The front features “USS Iowa” above a submarine and two stylized ghost fish. A propeller sits below the submarine, while an “A-Ganger” banner curves across the bottom. The black, white, and red background contrasts with the metallic-looking chain and relief details.

Skull and propeller reverse

The reverse places a skull marked “SSN 797” over a large propeller, with green and red eyes and a cloud motif above. A lower banner reads “The Final Words in Nuclear Power: Prepare to Snorkel.”
