Vanguard Damascus Folding Knife with Charred Oak Handle

Vanguard Handmade Damascus Folding Pocket Knife, 6.5” Overall, 3.0” Blade, Charred Oak Wood Handle, Lock-Back Mechanism, Leather Sheath, Sharpening Rod, Pro Knife Sharpening & Personalized Engraving

Damascus Steel and Blade Detail

The blade is hand-forged by combining 1095 and 15N20 steel through repeated layering, welding, and hammering. This process creates the distinctive Damascus pattern that gives every knife its own individual appearance.

The steel is heat treated to approximately HRC 62+ hardness, providing a strong balance of sharpness, toughness, edge retention, and dependable cutting performance.

Because the Damascus pattern develops naturally during the forging and finishing process, each blade has its own unique visual character, much like a fingerprint.

Scales & Handle

The handle is crafted from charred oak wood, giving the knife a rich, traditional appearance with distinctive natural grain and texture.

The wood is carefully finished and sealed to help protect it from moisture, drying, and cracking while providing a comfortable and secure grip.

Locking Mechanism

The lock-back folding mechanism helps keep the blade securely engaged during use while allowing the knife to fold into a compact profile for convenient storage and carry.
