Damascus steel is known for its strength, hardness, and edge retention. The blade is heat treated to approximately HRC 62+ on the Rockwell Scale for dependable cutting performance, durability, and long-term edge retention.

The handle is handcrafted using exotic olive wood, selected for its distinctive natural grain, warm color, and comfortable feel. The wood is carefully treated and finished to help resist moisture, heat, cold, cracking, and drying. Full tang construction extends the blade steel through the handle for additional strength, stability, and balanced handling.
