Damascus Steel and Blade Detail

The blade is carefully made by combining 1095 & VG-10 steel through a process of layering, welding, hammering, and shaping. This process creates a distinctive Damascus pattern across every blade, giving each knife its own unique appearance similar to a fingerprint. Each Feoh folding knife is individually handcrafted and visually distinctive.

Damascus steel has outstanding properties such as strength and hardness. We enhance these properties through oil quenching at approximately 2100°F and rapid cooling to develop hardness throughout the blade. The finished blade achieves approximately HRC 62–65 on the Rockwell Scale for dependable cutting performance and edge retention.

Scales & Handle

The elegant handle is handcrafted using stained maple burl, selected for its distinctive natural grain, color, and character. The wood is carefully sealed and finished to help prevent cracking, drying, and moisture absorption while preserving the appearance of the handle over time. The knife is equipped with an under-lock folding mechanism for secure blade retention during use.
