Damascus Steel and Blade Detail

The blade is carefully hand forged from Damascus steel using a layered forging process that creates a distinctive pattern across every blade. This Horizon Bowie Knife features approximately 153 layers of Damascus steel, giving each knife its own unique appearance and handcrafted character.

Damascus steel is known for its strength, hardness, and edge retention. The blade is heat treated to approximately HRC 62+ for dependable cutting performance and durability. The 8.0" trailing point Bowie blade provides a long cutting edge suited for hunting, camping, outdoor utility, collecting, and general field use.

Scales & Handle

The handle is handcrafted using natural bone, giving each knife its own individual color, texture, and appearance. The bone handle is carefully fitted and finished for a secure and comfortable grip. Full tang construction extends the blade steel through the handle for added strength, stability, and balance. A Damascus guard and butt complete the design and complement the patterned blade.
