A versatile and easy-care vegetable that grows in most conditions and allows you to pick the outer leaves while the others remain growing. Usually harvested over 16-24 weeks but outer leaves may be picked around 10 weeks. To ensure an ongoing and bumper harvest, water regularly and enjoy both leaves and the multi-coloured stems which can be used like celery.
🌱 SEEDLING HEIGHT | 15cm-20cm including the root system📏 SPACING | Rows: 30cm-40cm apart Plants: 30cm-40cm apart
🥗 HARVEST | 10-24 weeks, depending on location & weather conditions
🌡️ CONDITIONS | Sunny or partially shaded position, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Keep well-watered in dry weather and fertilise regularly.
