A dark, fine curled, variety of kale. Mild brassica/mustard flavour suitable for baby leaf harvesting and bunching. Avoid really hot positions and harvest when younger for sweeter leaves. High in antioxidants, kale contains more than twice the Vitamin C of spinach, and also has more Calcium and Vitamin K. It’s also high in fibre, protein, folate and is rich in nutrients that support eye health.

🌡️ CONDITIONS | Full to partial sun, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Benefits from consistent watering which encourages tender and sweeter leaves, and prefers slightly acidic soil. Shallow-rooted so mulch to keep soil cool.
