Kotsamanos Figure in Motion, Tetralofos | Limited Edition

Kotsamanos Figure in Motion, Tetralofos is a limited edition black and white photography print by George Tatakis. From the Ethos series. Edition of 4 + 1 artist proof, signed and numbered by the artist.

Photographed in Tetralofos, Kozani, this image is part of a broader body of work by George Tatakis.

A single figure moves away from the frame, held within a moment that resists completion. The gesture remains suspended, allowing movement to exist without resolution.

The landscape extends in depth behind him, but the figure remains distinct, neither absorbed nor fully separated from the space.

Part of the Ethos series, a long-term body of work documenting traditional rituals and cultural expressions across Greece.

Edition of 4 + 1 artist proof.
Signed and numbered by the artist.

Selected works by George Tatakis have been published in major international publications, including The New York Times, and exhibited internationally.
