These brushes are made from goat bristles, they are super soft, with good flexibility. They have an 8" long, flat wood handle.
- 2" Bristle
They work well for water-based media, but are not recommended for encaustic. The heat from encaustic paint will loosen the glue that holds in the bristles.
The bristle is held in place with fiber fastening and glue.
