Hand Carved Hippo Shelf Sitter

A rather splendid little wooden hippo that sits quite contentedly on your shelf, looking marvellously African and entirely too charming for its own good. Each one is hand carved and painted by artisans in Kenya under fair trade conditions, which means you get something genuinely fabulous while supporting rural communities. Honestly, it is rather good.

Why Choose Our Hand Carved Hippo Shelf Sitter

Beautifully Crafted by Hand: Every hippo is carved and painted individually, so yours will be utterly unique, slightly wonky in that rather endearing way, and absolutely gorgeous.

Sustainably Made: Crafted from responsibly harvested jacaranda wood, because we do care about such things, even if we bumble about admitting it.

Fair Trade Artisan Made: Your purchase provides genuine income for skilled craftspeople in rural Kenya, which feels rather marvellous, doesn't it.
