Helmsman Beard Balm

Helmsman is the lightest balm in the range. Jasmine, rum and citrus, with just enough beeswax to keep a summer beard tidy without making it feel heavy.

The Scent

Citrus opens, jasmine softens, rum and spice sit at the back. It is bright and clean rather than sweet, and it works in heat where a warm balm would feel like too much.

What It Does

Beeswax gives a light hold. Jojoba and argan oil condition the hair, and shea and cocoa butter keep the ends soft. It is the one to reach for when you want shape but not a stiff beard.

How to Use It

1. Start clean and dry. Oil first if you use it.
2. Take a pea-sized amount, less for a short beard.
3. Warm it between your palms and work it through the ends.
4. Comb into shape and stop. More product will not improve the hold.

Questions

Is it strong enough for a long beard? It holds the shape, but a long beard may want a little more. Use two scrapes rather than one heavy one.
