Axman is a beard oil built on cedar and leather. It is dry, earthy and direct, with no sweetness and no citrus. If your grooming shelf already smells like a barbershop, this is the one that fits.
The Scent
Cedar leads. Leather sits underneath it and keeps the wood from turning sharp. The two notes stay close to the beard rather than filling a room, which makes it easy to wear at work. It suits cool weather, heavy boots and a beard that spends time outside.
What It Does
Jojoba and argan oil moisturize the skin under the beard and soften the hair without leaving a heavy film. Vitamin E is in the blend. It helps with the dry, tight feeling that shows up after washing or in cold air. It will not make the beard grow faster.
How to Use It
- Start with a clean face, patted dry.
- Four or five drops in the palm for a full beard, two or three for a short one.
- Rub your palms together and work the oil down to the skin.
- Comb through and shape. Use it daily.
Questions
Is it a strong scent? It is noticeable when you apply it and then settles close. Use less if you want it quieter.
Can I use it with a scented balm? Keep the scents in the same family. Axman Beard Balm is the matching one. The Pair has both.
Does it work on sensitive skin? It is scented, so patch test first if your skin has reacted to fragrance before. Airman is the unscented option.
