Aficionado Beard Balm

Aficionado is the balm for a beard you keep shaped. Amber, clove, cherry and spice, with enough hold to keep the line you combed in and enough condition to stop the ends looking dry.

The Scent

Amber and clove lead. Cherry softens the middle and the spice keeps the finish dry. It is the warmest balm in the range, built for evenings and cool weather rather than a hot afternoon.

What It Does

Jojoba and argan oil condition the hair. Beeswax gives a light hold, shea and cocoa butter add weight and softness, and the whole thing sits on the outside of the beard where it can tame flyaways. It will not make a beard grow faster and it is not a styling gel.

How to Use It

1. Start with a clean, dry beard. If you use oil, put it on first and wait a minute.
2. Scrape a thumbnail-sized amount from the tin.
3. Warm it between your palms until it softens.
4. Work it through the middle and ends, then comb into shape.

Questions

Will it make my beard greasy? Only if you use too much. Start small and add a little more if the beard still looks dry.

Does it work on a short beard? Yes. Use a pea-sized amount and keep it to the ends.
