BTMS 25 is conditioning agent, gives silky, soft finish to hair and light, hydrating feel to skin. Makes hair easier to comb through and feels light on the hair. No need for additional stabilisers or thickeners, simplifies formulation and improves product performance.

This emulsifying wax is made from sustainable rapeseed oil and palm oil sources, non-GM, vegetable-based based but chemically processed. Easy to use and premium results, a must-have for both beginner and professional formulators.

Although we found many suppliers claiming a vegetable base for this and even having the same INCI name, our research showed they were, in fact, tallow-based (animal fat).   We eventually found this version which has no animal materials at all, certified Non-GM and also not irradiated. How to Use

• Oil soluble, so use in Stage 1 when making creams and lotions.
  
  
• When ready, pour Stage 1 into Stage 2 to create an oil-in-water emulsion. See recipes for details.
  
  
• Use 1% to 10% in formulations.
  
  
• We suggest 3% to 5% with 3% oils for a light lotion.
  
  
• 6% to 10% with up to 20% oils will give a thicker cream.
  
  
• Using solid fats as part of the oil phase will also add extra thickness.

Skin Care

• A fantastic emulsifier for all skin care products, leaving a silky and powdery feel on the skin.
  
  
• It imparts softness and smoothness along with excellent hydration.
  
  
• It produces stable emulsions that can cope with the addition of tinctures as well as more challenging ingredients like AHAs and Hyaluronic Acid.

• When used at the maximum with solid fats, it can make a body butter texture that is as good as any butters-only recipe, with the added benefit of being able to include water-soluble actives as well.
  
  
• When used at the lower percentages, it makes very elegant lotions that can be used as serums for anti-aging products.

Hair Care
