Wild Country Friend 2026 Climbing Cams - Dual-Axle Singles (0.3-4)

The Wild Country Friend is a classic dual-axle climbing cam, and this listing covers individual Friends from size 0.3 to 4. It's for trad and alpine climbers building a first rack, filling a gap or doubling up on the sizes they place most.

The dual-axle design gives each Friend a broad expansion range with useful overlap between neighbouring sizes, so you spend less time fumbling for the right piece as the crack changes. Wild Country's proven 13.75° cam angle delivers consistent holding across the range, and the polished, unanodised aluminium lobes bite reliably when weighted. Hollow axles keep weight down without giving up strength, and an ergonomic thumb loop makes placing, adjusting and retrieving comfortable.

Every Friend comes on a 12mm extendable Dyneema sling, which helps reduce rope drag and cam walking and often saves you a separate quickdraw. Friends are also sold as three-piece (0.4-0.75 and 1-3) and six-piece (0.4-3) sets; this listing is for singles.
