The Slaphappy Max Bouldering Crash Pad is the largest and most protective pad in the Slaphappy range: 120 x 140cm open, 12.5cm deep, hand-built in the UK for highballs and rough landings. When the moves get bigger, so should your pad.

The Max is a step up in coverage and cushioning, not just a bigger version of the same thing. Inside is a thicker three-layer foam system: dense 2.5cm closed-cell layers top and bottom to disperse impact, around a deeper 7.5cm open-cell core that soaks up heavy landings. A hybrid hinge reduces dead spots across the pad, so protection stays consistent right across the landing zone, even on uneven ground.

Outside, a 1000D nylon shell and a 1000D Cordura HP landing deck stand up to repeated outdoor sessions, with a heavy-duty YKK zip and a G-hook closure. It folds to 120 x 70cm and 25cm deep, weighs 12kg, and the closed-cell foam is UK-made with 30% recycled content. Designed, built and tested in the UK.
