Outdoor Research Helium UL Vestibule - 155g Bivy Extension

The Outdoor Research Helium UL Vestibule adds a covered porch to the Helium UL Bivy for 155g. If you've ever bivvied with a wet pack and boots wedged in beside you, this is the fix: sheltered space for gear and cooking without carrying a tent.

Made from 15D silicone-coated ripstop nylon, the vestibule pitches over the bivy entrance using a trekking pole and creates a weather-resistant area for packs, boots and wet kit. It also improves airflow around the bivy opening. It packs down small enough to disappear into your kit and adds almost nothing to your load. Note that it's designed specifically for the Helium UL Bivy and needs a trekking pole to pitch. Choose it when your fast-and-light trips run into more than a night of bad weather.
