The Highlander Nap-Pak Arctic R11 Sleeping Mat is a 4-season inflatable mat with a certified R-value of 11, built for winter camping, alpine use and sub-zero nights. If you've ever lain awake feeling the ground pull the heat out of you, this is the fix.
Ten centimetres of baffled air lift you well clear of frozen ground, and three layers of aluminium film inside reflect your body heat back at you. The R11 rating is independently tested to the ASTM F3340 standard, not a marketing guess. Despite all that insulation it rolls down to 28 × 14 cm and weighs 900g without its stuff sack, which is packable enough for backpacking, mountaineering and cold-weather expeditions. Choose it when you're heading out in proper winter or sleeping high, and want to recover properly rather than shiver through the night.
